Maggie has had a long career both on stage and on TV. She has been a regular on both Coronation Street and Brookside as well as working at The Royal Exchange, York Theatre Royal, and in Dangling at the Southwark Playhouse.

Maggie played Michaels’s mum in Death Of England: Face To Face at The National Theatre for Sky Arts and she has just had a cameo in a pilot for a new TV series Dead.

She also writes and performs her own work. She devised a creative writing workshop for women living with HIV and going through the menopause. A surprisingly uplifting and hilarious experience.
